This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.

 Karen Basciano-Ireland, RP Confidentiality Agreement

 We take confidentiality seriously. We want you to feel comfortable and safe sharing your experiences. All information shared during a 1:1 session (Telehealth Platform/telephone/in person) shared with Karen Basciano-Ireland, MC, Registered Psychotherapist with College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario is confidential. Complete records of your individual therapy & assessment are recorded in your individual therapy file and are secured for a minimum of 10 years after the date of your last contact. With the exceptions stated below, no information will be released about your contact without your informed consent: ● Reason to believe that withholding information would lead to harm to self and/or others ● There is reason to suspect abuse of a child (under 16) ● Disclosure of sexual abuse by a Regulated Health Care Professional • On rare occasions, files may be subpoenaed for court, under all other circumstances information will only be released with your written consent. 1. As a client I understand and accept the risks of participating in a Telehealth Virtual session, including the risk that personal health information, personal information, or confidential information transmitted via the virtual platform may be accessible by an unauthorized user, Karen Basciano-Ireland, RP does not guarantee that privacy or security of the Telehealth technology used for the purpose of this agreement.
